Julie Gossen, Executive Vice-President & Chief Operating Officer, announced that CanJet, Canada's Low-Fare Airline, has introduced "Smart Web Check-In" service for all Canadian domestic flights.
She stated, "Our team has been working on this customer initiative for a number of weeks and I am delighted to announce that our easy to use web check-in service is now available on-line at www.canjet.com. CanJet customers with confirmed reservations and no special needs can now check-in on-line from their home or office up to 12 hours and no later than 1 hour prior to scheduled departure, select a seat, print their boarding pass and proceed directly to airport security. It is another way CanJet continues to make flying on our airline a hassle-free, enjoyable and value added experience."
She pointed out that customers with baggage to check will also be able to utilize the airline's Smart Web Check-In. Ms. Gossen said, "Upon arrival at their departure airport, CanJet customers will be greeted by our Guest Service Agents who will tag their baggage and direct them to our Smart Check-In Lane, which is clearly marked and designed to expedite baggage drop-off. We are confident this new value added product will be quickly endorsed and warmly welcomed by our customers."
