Travelport has made a new long term agreement with Calgary-based Custom Travel Solutions, and an associate member of the TSI Travel Network for Canada.
Through the agreement, Custom Travel Solutions has appointed Travelport as its primary technology provider for the future and will begin a conversion of its GDS business from Sabre to Travelport’s Apollo platform.
According to Maurita Baker, country manager, Canada, “Travelport is delighted to partner with Custom Travel Solutions, which has consistently been recognized with multiple superior customer service and ‘best agency’ awards. We are especially pleased to provide Custom Travel with our web-based application Travelport Agencia, the only travel agency desktop tool that enables Canadian agents to book all Air Canada content in an efficient and streamlined manner.”
“The integration of Air Canada’s content into a single screen is an industry first and allows Customer Travel Solutions’ agents to offer their travellers fully informed travel choice,” Baker added.
