| ENSEMBLE TRAVEL SELECTS SABRE AS TECHNOLOGY PROVIDER | | Members will have full access to Sabre’s products and services | |
Ensemble Travel Group has selected Sabre Travel Network as its preferred travel technology provider, including GDS services for the organization’s 850 member agencies in Canada and the U.S.
News of the agreement was formally announced to the industry during the opening general session of Ensemble’s 2012 conference at Red Rock Resort Las Vegas on Oct. 17.
Under the agreement, Ensemble members will have access to the full range of products and services in the Sabre Red portfolio, including Sabre’s air shopping capabilities, comprehensive hotel, car, and other travel content available through the Sabre Red Workspace. Ensemble members can customize the Red Workspace to meet their individual business needs with Red Apps from the Red App Centre.
Libbie Rice, co-president, Ensemble Travel Group, said that after exploring several options for members, Sabre was selected due to its innovative technology solutions, expertise, and a commitment to partnership with both Ensemble and members. Rice also said Sabre has demonstrated leadership in the U.S. and Canadian marketplaces, and with Sabre’s breadth and depth of products, members will soon reap the rewards of this partnership.
