| SUNQUEST INTRODUCES 2013 MED CRUISING PROGRAM | ||
| Five cruise itineraries cover the Mediterranean from Valencia to Haifa | ||
Featuring departures out of Toronto with Alitalia (March to October 2013), Sunquest and MSC Cruises are continuing their partnership to bring more choice and value for the 2013 Med cruising season. The MSC Splendida, MSC Fantasia, MSC Lirica and the MSC Divina, the newest addition to MSC’s Fantasia Class vessels which debuted last year, are the four ships that Sunquest guests will experience this coming season. There are five cruise itineraries available – two East and three West – that cover the Mediterranean’s shores from Valencia to Haifa. Of particular note are the Lirica’s two Western Mediterranean itineraries. Fifteen days and 13 nights a piece (11-night cruises plus two nights in Rome), these Sunquest ‘Cruise of a Lifetime’ itineraries offer a number of new Sunquest ports-of-call. Both sailing from Rome, option one visits Istanbul, Yalta, Odessa, Athens, Sorrento and Genoa, with four days at sea in that time; and option two visits Messina, Marmaris (or Rhodes), Limassol, Haifa, Zakynthos and Genoa (including three days at sea). Another new port-of-call for Sunquest is Kotor, Montenegro, which can be experienced aboard the MSC Fantasia’s 11-day/nine-night (seven-night cruise, two nights in Rome) ‘Cruise of a Lifetime’ Eastern Mediterranean itinerary out of Venice that also calls in Bari, Katakolon, Santorini and Athens. The MSC Divina also offers an Eastern Mediterranean cruise out of Venice, stopping in Bari, Katakolon, Izmir, Istanbul and Dubrovnik, while the MSC Splendida rounds out the list with a Western Med itinerary out of Rome that stops in Genoa, Marseille, Barcelona, Valencia and Palermo. Sunquest’s Med cruising program offers clients who book early up to $500 in savings per couple, per stateroom, plus free stateroom upgrade, which is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Combined, this represents up to $800 per couple in savings. For those looking to combine their Med cruise with an in-depth Italian experience, there are five coach tours and two specialty coach tours offered by Sunquest sister company ALBATours. Tours range in duration from five nights (Artistic Italy tour from $1,049 per person) to 14 nights (Grand Tour of Italy from $2,449 per person). |
