| TICO APPROVES COMPENSATION PAYOUTS | |
On Sept. 18, 2012, TICO’s Board of Directors approved payment of $8,430.10 to assist 17 consumers who did not receive the travel services for which they had paid. These payments were due to the closures of Dolphin Travel in Toronto; Malev Airlines in Hungary and Spanair in Spain.
Compensation in the amount of $5,280 was approved for consumers of Dolphin Travel services; $2,392.10 was approved for consumers of Malev Airlines services and $758 was approved for consumers of Spanair services.
