| TICO ELECTS VICE CHAIR OF BOARD AND WELCOMES NEW MEMBERS | |
At a private meeting, following the annual general meeting held at the Toronto Congress Centre on Sept. 18, 2012, TICO’s new board of directors named Jim Diebel as vice chair. Diebel is the president of Hanover Holiday Tours in Hanover, Ontario.
The vice chair appointment is for one year until TICO’s next AGM in 2013. Diebel was also the successful candidate to the TICO board of directors for a two-year position that was open to a wholesale registrant and won by acclamation, as TICO only received one nomination for this position.
TICO’s board also welcomes Louise Gardiner, senior director, leisure travel Canada, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, as ACTA’s new appointee.
