| TRAFALGAR LAUNCHES 2013 COSTSAVER BROCHURE | |
Trafalgar has launched its 2013 CostSaver brochure for Europe & Britain, containing 34 cost-effective itineraries.
The brochure features five new trips, more meal inclusions and the use of audio headsets for all guided visits.
Trafalgar is also offering its biggest early payment discount to date: clients can save up to 10 per cent off the cost of their trip by booking any of Trafalgar’s 2013 CostSaver itineraries before Dec. 27, 2012. This offer is combinable with other Trafalgar discounts.

Taste of Britain
The six-day trip visits cultural hot-spots throughout England and Scotland. The trip start and departs in London with stops in Cambridge, York, Liverpool, and Edinburgh. Guests will visit Stratford-Upon-Avon and see the Bard’s home. In York, travellers will explore the old walls of the city and make their way through the narrow streets to York Minster. In Edinburgh, guests can try a traditional Scottish feast of haggis, neeps and tatties, and in London they can visit Buckingham Palace. Other highlights of the trip include a visit to Hadrian’s Wall, sightseeing with a Local Guide in Edinburgh and a visit to Liverpool to see the home of The Beatles.
Highlights of the Italian Lakes
One of five new CostSaver itineraries, the 10-day itinerary introduces clients to the more remote parts of Italy. The trip starts and ends in Milan, with guests joining a local guide for a sightseeing tour of the city before heading off to explore Italy’s lake towns. Clients visit Lake Garda, Limone, Lake Maggiore, Lake Lugano, Lake Iseo and Lake Como. Also included is a cruise to the lake community of Bellagio. Next, guests head to Verona, where they’ll get an orientation tour and see Juliet’s balcony, as well as the Roman arena.
Highlights of Germany
This 13-day trip is based off of the Best of Germany itinerary from the First Class brochure. Highlights of Germany offers clients the same quality of service and expertise knowledge, as well as free time. The trip start and ends in Frankfurt, with stops in Munich, Rothenburg, Dresden and Heidelberg. A Local Guide in Berlin educates guests on the monuments, memorials and social history of the re-united city, and other highlights include a cruise along the Rhine with views of medieval hilltop castles, a trip to Oberammergau (home of the Passion Play), and a drive through Black Forest.
