| ENCORE PRESENTS NEW CRUISE MAGAZINE | | Editorial-driven publication replaces traditional travel brochure | |
Encore Cruises has unveiled its new Cruise Magazine, an editorial-driven publication that replaces the traditional travel brochure.
Instead of pages of deck plans, itineraries and descriptions of ports-of-call, Encore’s Cruise Magazine includes a variety of articles that cover everything from new ships and kids clubs, to features on the Med experience and The Caribbean East vs. West. There are also games for kids, a crossword and a quiz to determine what kind of cruise is appropriate for certain travellers.
“We feel that the traditional brochure piece is a thing of the past in the world of cruising,” said Amr Younes, vice president, Encore Cruises. “Cruise lines themselves produce the best collateral relating to their ships, itineraries and destinations, so our goal was to create something that the savvy cruiser could really appreciate and enjoy as they thought about and planned their next cruise vacation; we wanted to give them a cruise experience before they even boarded the ship.”
