!!! VACATION.COM ANNOUNCES 15TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Vacation.com has announced the venue for its 15th International Conference & Trade Show. Vacation.com members, supplier partners, and industry professionals will convene at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort in Orlando for four days filled with networking opportunities, educational workshops, and entertainment from June 11 to 15, 2013.

On the heels of one of its most highly attended conferences ever, onboard Royal Caribbean International’s Oasis of the Seas, more than 250 agents have already registered to attend the 15th International Conference.

“Bringing Conference back to Orlando will be another huge draw for our agents as Orlando continues to be a top destination for leisure travellers – and one many of our agents excel in selling," said Christine James, vice president, Vacation.com. "With exclusive access to one of the city’s hottest new attractions; more than 150 hours of classes; the opportunity to network with some of the industry’s top travel agents and preferred supplier senior executives; and a spacious trade show, we’re anticipating another huge success in 2013. Our 15th year is a landmark anniversary and we look forward to celebrating it with our members.”

The 2013 Conference theme is “Rise and Shine,” encouraging agents to rise up above the competition and shine above all challenges. Early bird registration is now open at a rate of US$79 through Sept. 30. Agents can visit conference.joinvacation.com to register, view the conference agenda and reserve discounted hotel room rates. Hotel space is expected to sell out.

One of the highlights during the 2013 Conference will be an offsite excursion to SeaWorld Orlando where agents will experience the park’s new Antarctica-Empire of the Penguin exhibit – set to open in May 2013. Sponsored by SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, in partnership with Visit Orlando, agents will have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the new exhibit as well as experience the rides, restaurants, shops, and exclusive park access.

More than 1,200 travel industry professionals attended the 2012 International Conference, which featured more than 100 training sessions, five general sessions, two industry-executive panels, and a sold-out trade show lined with more than 100 exhibitors. In a post-Conference survey, Vacation.com members reported a 97 per cent overall satisfaction rating.
