Until Sept. 30, travellers that book a Hurtigruten cruise will receive a 25 per cent early booking discount from GLP Worldwide Expedition Travel & Tours.
Prices are expected to go up for 2013 cruises. Also in 2013, the Classic Winter Voyages cruise will depart from Norway and go to the Arctic. The voyages will offer special on board activities as well as excursions that will focus on the Northern Lights.
Discounted 2013 Winter Classic Voyages (six-day Southbound Voyage) start at $1,286 per person, cruise only, based on Category I cabin. There are also seven-day Northbound Voyages, as well as 11-day Norwegian Discovery Voyage, and a 12- day Classic Round Voyage.
The Winter Classic Cruise Southbound Voyage travels from Kirkenes in the north part of Norway to Bergen along the south coast. The six-day cruise visits a variety of ports and seaside villages.
The price listed is for an “I” or inside cabin. Prices are based on double occupancy and exclude flights, optional excursions, luggage handling and fuel surcharges.
