Effective immediately, Encore Cruises has appointed Mary Ogaki as the new director of sales.
Ogaki has worked in travel for 25 years, having spent the last 12 in retail travel. Most recently, Ogaki managed TDC’s groups and special programs business.
Prior to that, she held positions with Sears Travel, Red Seal Tours, American Express Travel and Encore Cruises, before it became part of the Thomas Cook group of companies, where she worked as a district sales manager.
“Given her extensive experience in the travel industry, and specifically the retail travel segment, Mary will bring a lot of expertise to this role,” said Amr Younes, vice president, Encore. “With a mandate of strengthening retail partnerships and working closely with key accounts, Mary’s network of contacts and the many close relationships she has cultivated over the years makes her a natural for this role and a great addition to our team.”
Ogaki is based out of Thomas Cook’s Toronto office.
