Emirates and Merit Golf Vacations have teamed up to offer Canadians golf packages to Dubai.
Available for travel on Oct. 1, 2012, all packages offer six nights hotel accommodation, five rounds of golf, daily breakfast, and 24 hour on-ground support from travel management company, Arabian Adventures. The cost of the golf packages range from $2,899 to $3,299 - customized duration packages are also available.
Golf courses include: Majilis, a course at Emirates Golf Club that is built around the dunes on the edge of Dubai, and offers a par 72, 7,301-yard field; Dubai Creek Resort, an 18-hole, par 71 course; the Els Club Dubai, an open champion course at The Montgomerie Dubai; and Al Abadia.
For the 19th hole, golfers can add different activities to their travel packages, such as desert safaris, sightseeing tours of the new and old city, a trip to the top of the Burj Khalifa, and gold souk and spice market tours.
“The program is being offered as a way to introduce Emirates passengers to golf in Dubai - a world-class destination with outstanding courses that should be on every golfer’s bucket list,” said Don McWilliam, manager Canada, Emirates. “We wanted to extend this world-class experience to our Canadian customers.”
The Merit golf packages are available to all Emirates passengers and combinable with all fares. They are not restricted to any specific class of travel.
