|TRAFALGAR RELEASES 2013 ASIA BROCHURE|
| New brochure offers nine trips including extensions to Tibet, Bangkok and Hong Kong|
Trafalgar has launched its 2013 Asia brochure, offering trips to China, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia and extensions to Tibet, Bangkok and Hong Kong. |
Some of the itineraries include:
Majestic China - the 14-day tour begins in Beijing and ends in Shanghai. It makes stops in Xi’an, Chengdu, Guilin and Hangzhou. The highlights in Xi’an include a visit to the Big Goose Pagoda, and a Tang Dynasty dinner featuring a cultural performance. In Hangzhou, guests will visit the Buddhist Temple, and have lunch with a local family at a tea farm. The Majestic China itinerary also includes four internal flights.
Splendours of Japan – the 10-day tour includes a sushi-making luncheon in Tokyo, and a gold leaf painting demonstration with a local artist in Kanazawa. Guests will also visit the hot spring bath at Ryokan in Lake Suwa, and have a wine tasting in Katsunuma. There will also be a farewell dinner featuring a performance by Geisha and Maiko dancers. Sightseeing highlights include a trip to the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, ascension to 2,300 metres up Mount Fuji, and a visit to a Samurai mansion in Kanazawa.
Highlights of Vietnam - the 10-day tour goes from Vietnam to Cambodia, starting in Hanoi and departing from Ho Chi Minh City. In Hanoi, travellers will take a cycling tour of the Old Quarter and go to a water puppet show. Also included is an overnight Ha Long Bay Junk boat cruise, with a morning Tai Chi class. The sightseeing highlights include the Cu Chi Tunnels, the Imperial Citadel in Hue (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and a boat ride along the Perfume River to the Thien Mu Pagoda.
Travellers that book their 2013 vacation to China, Vietnam or Japan, and make a full payment by Sept. 30, 2012, will save up to $1,200 per couple; or $600 per couple if booking with just a deposit by Oct. 31, 2012.
