| TRANSAT HOLIDAYS PRESENTS NEW CRUISE COLLECTION | ||
| 2012-2014 brochure features two new ships, flight & cruise packages, baggage delivery service, flight protection and Best Price Guarantee | ||
Over 85 ships and a variety of cruises are featured in the new brochure, including two new ships sailing in Spring 2013: the Norwegian Breakaway and the MSC Preziosa. Transat Holidays is also offering six departures on the MSC Lirica, sailing from La Romana, Dominican Republic every Thursday, starting Jan. 10, 2013. The program is offered as a package and includes flights from Montreal. This seven-night southern Caribbean itinerary includes: La Romana, Dominican Republic; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Fort-de-France, Martinique; Pointe-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe; St. John’s, Antigua; Road Town (Tortola), Virgin Islands; Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; and a return to La Romana. The Costa Luminosa is also back for its tenth consecutive season, sailing from La Romana every Monday, from Dec. 17, 2012 to April 8, 2013. Both cruises are offered in conjunction with an optional one-week, pre or post-stay at a selection of all-inclusive resorts in La Romana. For Florida travellers, Transat Holidays is offering a luggage delivery service from the Fort Lauderdale airport to the Port of Miami or Port Everglades. Travellers can claim their luggage at the airport and hand it to an attendant, who will have it delivered to their stateroom on the ship. Cruise passengers returning to Canada can now check in for their flight at the pier. When disembarking a ship in Port Everglades, the Transat Holidays team will direct travellers to the pier-side counter, where they can check in and deposit their luggage. As a thank you, Transat Holidays is offering $100 per stateroom in shipboard credits that can be applied towards onboard purchases such as shore excursions, items from the gift shop, gratuities, drink packages, spa treatments or alternative dining options. To qualify, new individual bookings must be made between Aug. 14 and Oct. 15, 2012 for a cruise of seven nights, or longer, in a balcony stateroom or higher. Also, when booking a Europe or Florida cruise in conjunction with a Transat Holidays flight, departing between April 1 and Oct. 31, 2013 (year-round for Florida), clients will save up to $200 per couple on their flight. This offer is valid for bookings made by Jan. 31, 2013. This promotion is valid for the following cities in Europe and Florida; France - Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Paris; Greece - Athens; Italy - Rome, Venice; Netherlands – Amsterdam; Portugal - Faro, Lisbon, Porto; Spain - Barcelona, Malaga; Switzerland – Basel; Turkey – Istanbul; United Kingdom – London; Florida - Fort Lauderdale, Orlando. Transat Holidays is also offering flight protection for cruise passengers. Should a delayed flight cause travellers to miss their cruise, they will be rebooked on the next available flight to meet their cruise. For the return, if a ship delay causes travellers to miss their return flight, travellers will be rebooked on the next available flight home.
