Sunwing is introducing new holiday return flightS between Toronto and Vancouver. The new flights run over the Christmas and New Year holidays, from Dec. 19, 2012 to Jan. 7, 2013.
Flights from Toronto to Vancouver will depart in the evening, with flights from Vancouver to Toronto being overnight. Flight prices start at $299 plus taxes.
Daryl McWilliams, vice president of sales and marketing, Sunwing, said the new schedule is comprehensive.
“For three weeks, commencing with our Toronto to Vancouver flight on Dec. 19, we will operate westbound flights on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings, departing at 9 p.m. and arriving on the west coast at 11:05 p.m. Flights from Vancouver to Toronto depart at 11:55 p.m. on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evenings, arriving in Toronto at 7:25 the following morning (all times shown are local).”
All Sunwing flights to Vancouver are aboard the “high frills” Sunwing Airlines, where passengers receive champagne service, hot towel service, a choice of hot meals at lunch and dinner served with choice of wine, and complimentary in-flight entertainment, including first run movies.
For $40 more per flight segment, travellers can upgrade to Sunwing’s Elite Plus service, which features advance seat selection, separate check-in at a majority of airports, advance boarding, 30 kilogram baggage allowance, and extra legroom seats.
