Goway Travel has launched a direct deposit program created to pay agents commission on bookings earlier. |
The program ensures that agents receive commissions directly into their agency bank account, within one week of the client making final payment.
“We’ve always made it a priority to pay agents on time and at time of final payment, rather than at the end of travel as some suppliers do,” commented Cathy Mulrine, VP wholesale, Goway.
The new system processes commissions on the Thursday following final payment posted to the Goway file.
Agents can register online at Goway.com/suppliers by entering their agency details, bank name and address (for security purposes Goway does not ask for the bank account number online). A form is generated that agents can mail or fax to Goway with their bank account details, plus a signature from the agency owner and the nominated email address.
Notification of the transfer is sent by email within 48 hours prior to payment.
