| AIR CANADA REACHES TENTATIVE AGREEMENTS WITH UNIONS | | CALDA and CAW reach tentative collective agreements with Air Canada
Air Canada announced that it has reached tentative collective agreements with the Canadian Airline Dispatchers Association (CALDA), representing the airline's flight dispatchers and with with Local 2002 of the Canadian Auto Workers union (CAW) for the airline's 76 in-flight service crew schedulers who coordinate work schedules for flight attendants.
Air Canada's 74 flight dispatchers are based at the airline's central operations control centre near Toronto Pearson International Airport and assist flight crew in the preparation for flight departures and arrivals.
Both agreements are subject to ratification by the respective union memberships.
Details of the agreements will not be released pending ratification, and approval by the Air Canada board of directors.
