Annick Guérard appointed by Transat as vice-president, marketing and web commercialization; Andrew Lind replaces her as vice-president and general manager of Jonview Canada
Transat Inc. has announced the appointment of Annick Guérard as vice-president, marketing and web commercialization; and Andrew Lind as vice-president and general manager of Jonview Canada, a business unit of Transat A.T. Inc.
Guérard will be responsible for the Air Transat, Nolitours and Transat Holidays brands and marketing programs, and for the commercialization of their products, including on the Web. She will assume her new duties on August 16, 2010.
Since 2007, Guérard has led the operations of the Transat business unit Jonview Canada, Canada’s largest incoming tour operator, as its vice-president and general manager. Following her arrival at Transat in 2002, Guérard held senior management positions in two of the company’s biggest business units, including as senior director, customer service, Air Transat and, starting in 2006, director of brands, then interim vice-president, marketing, TTC.
She began her career as a director of international projects in the transportation industry, later joining the Deloitte Consulting group as senior advisor, organizational management.
Lind succeeds Guérard
Lind, Guérard’s successor, will assume his new duties on August 16, 2010.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in political sciences from the University of Western Ontario and began his career in sales in the printing industry before joining the Jonview Canada team in 1998 as sales manager. He subsequently held several senior management positions, including overseeing the Australasian, Japanese and German markets. In 2004, he was named director, products and operations, then senior director in 2007.
In 2009, he was appointed director of Jonview Canada’s Montreal office, while retaining his responsibilities at the Toronto office.
