PROCEDURE AND RULES

How to enter:
Complete the online contest form at TRAVELHotNews.com and submit up to three (3) travel photo(s) (digital format only) before October 15, 2006.

Pictures must be the original work of the individual submitting them.

Pictures may be of any subject, taken anywhere in the world, but must have a travel related theme.

TRAVELHotNews.com reserves the right to refuse publication of any image it deems inconsistent or inappropriate with the rules.

Only digital photos sent by email will be accepted.

This contest is open to all full-time travel industry employees, except employees of Logimonde Inc./ACT Communications Inc. /TRAVELHotNews.com and Sunwing Vacations.

Dates:
The contest begins on September 11, 2006 and ends October 27, 2006

Prizes:

FIRST PRIZE: SELECTED BY JURY
TRAVELHotNews.com “Sensational Holiday Snapshot Award.”

The first prize is a trip for two to the Blue Bay Getaway & Spa in Cancun (including applicable taxes). Click here to visit the Blue Bay Getaway & Spa website, or you may view the hotel in the Sunwing Vacations 2006/07 holiday catalogue.

A 3-member jury will choose the 10 best images from all those submitted and then select the first-prize winner from that group of finalists. The remaining finalists will all qualify for the Reader’s Choice Award.

SECOND PRIZE: TRAVELHotNews.com READERS’ CHOICE AWARD
TRAVELHotNews.com “Sensational Holiday Snapshot Reader’s Choice” award.

The second prize will be awarded by TRAVELHotNews readers who will vote on the images of the 10 best finalists selected by the jury.

Readers will be invited to vote online for their favourite image between October 18 and October 25.

The Second Prize is two seats on Sunwing Airlines to Florida (including taxes).
If both jury and readers select the same image, the image receiving the second highest number of readers’ votes will be awarded the Readers’ Choice prize.

EIGHT FINALISTS:
The eight remaining finalists will receive TRAVELHotNews.com “Sensational Holiday Snapshot Certificates.”

Announcement:
The 10 finalists will be announced Wednesday October 18, in TRAVELHotNews.com
The winners of both prizes will be announced on Monday October 27, in TRAVELHotNews.com.

Exhibition:
Photos will be added to the Photo Gallery of TRAVELHotNews.com

All images will be published in TRAVELHotNews.com

Responsibility of the participant:
Submitted images are the responsibility of the photographer and must conform to current laws and publishing rights. All submitted photos must be free of any restrictions. Contest organizers cannot be held responsible for any dispute or contention regarding copyrights or other related rights.

By submitting images to our Sensational Travel Snapshot contest you give TRAVELHotNews.com the legal right to use and publish your submitted materials for future advertising, promotion and other electronic or print campaigns. You also acknowledge that the image was taken by you, and that any identifiable persons in your images have approved your submission to this contest. Participants must be 21 years of age or older.

By entering the contest and agreeing to our terms and conditions, the winners confirm their eligibility and compliance with the contest rules and release TRAVELHotNews.com and its partners and affiliates from all liability caused by, or resulting from, the acceptance or use of the contest prize.

TRAVELHotNews.com assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, or misdirected entries, or for any failure of the website during this contest, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, services, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by TRAVELHotNews.com on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or the website or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant’s, or any other person’s computer, related to, or resulting from, playing or downloading any material in the promotion.

Any attempt to deliberately damage the website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is a violation of the Criminal and Civil laws, and should such an attempt be made TRAVELHotNews.com reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution. TRAVELHotNews.com reserves the right to change the terms of this contest, or terminate it at any time, without prior notice.

All entries become the property of TRAVELHotNews.com and none will be returned. No correspondence will be entered into except with the selected entrants who will be notified by email and announced in our e-newsletter. Entrants, by entering this contest, agree to abide by these contest rules. Contest winners must consent to the use of their name or photograph, without compensation, in any publicity carried out by TRAVELHotNews.com.

* The trips awarded as prizes must be taken as described in the terms and conditions, are non-transferable and have no cash value. The holiday value of $3000 represents the average price for a one week stay at Blue Bay Getaway & Spa, as described on page 153 of the Ontario edition of the Sunwing Vacations holiday catalogue, for departures between Nov. 2006 and Aug. 2007. The actual value of the holiday will be determined by departure date selected and may be either more or less than the value stated.

Terms and Conditions.
Both the Sensational Holiday Snapshot Award and the Reader’s Choice Award:

1. are awarded by the process described above and all judges’ and/or TravelHotnews.com readers’ decisions are final.
2. must be taken as awarded (no substitutions will be allowed).
3. are non-transferable and have no cash value.
4. must have travel completed by August 31, 2007. No extensions to this «complete travel before» date will be permitted.
5. travel dates (and choice of destination in Florida for the air seat prizes) will be confirmed four weeks prior to the date selected. Once the prize winner’s selected travel date is confirmed, it may not be changed.
6. winners may travel between November 1, 2006 and September 30, 2007 excluding the black-out dates including, but not limited to, December 19, 2006 – January 7, 2007; February 3, 2007 – March 18, 2007; April 6 – 9, 2007.
