CANADA-U.S. BORDER DOCUMENTATION - NEW PERSPECTIVE Laurie Carter Passports Not Required "Passports are not going to be required for travel between Canada and the United States," said Jim Phillips, President and CEO of the Canadian American Border Trade Alliance at the recent Travel Law Day in Toronto. QANTAS LAUNCHES VANCOUVER SERVICE Qantas will begin operating seasonal services between Australia and Vancouver from June 14 to August 13, 2006. Executive General Manager of Qantas, Mr John Borghetti, said the new service would boost tourism in both Canada and Australia. Qantas will offer three services per-week between Sydney and Vancouver via San Francisco, operating three-class Boeing 747-400 aircraft fitted with Qantas' Skybed in Business Class. [Full text]
