GTD uses a business model that has been successful for years in the British and European markets. Instead of selling highly customized packages through travel agents, it offers specific packages direct to customers through its website and call centre.

| High winds and heavy fog postpone Queen Mary 2 arrival in Sydney, N.S. |

High winds and heavy fog prevented the Queen Mary 2, the world's largest ocean liner, from making its first stop at a Canadian port Monday. Hurricane-force winds of 100 kilometres an hour felled trees and knocked down power lines across Cape Breton. The luxury liner left Cape Breton without stopping and headed to Quebec City. It is scheduled to return to Sydney on Oct. 2. The strong winds were also causing delays for Marine Atlantic's ferry service between North Sydney, N.S., and Port aux Basques, Nfld. |
