WESTJET EXTENDS CHARLOTTETOWN SERVICE
WestJet's non-stop service between Charlottetown and Toronto will continue year-around, the airline announced Wednesday after starting the flights this summer on a seasonal basis. The airline's move follows Air Canada's decision to end year-round service between Charlottetown and Toronto because the P.E.I. government provided subsidies to lure WestJet to the province. WestJet will have six flights per week starting Oct. 17 between the cities. |

Air France has now chosen to implement a similar site in Canada, slightly modified and adapted to better suit the needs and specifications of the Canadian market.

While Exotik has been selling this destination to Quebec travelers with tremendous success (8,000+ per year) for more than 25 years, it is relatively unknown in the rest of the country. "It's been pretty much under the radar," said Javier Santamaria, Executive Account Manager for Air France, which partners with Exotic on Tunisia.

| NORTHWEST JOINS DELTA IN BANKRUPTSY |

| Northwest Airlines, pummelled by high labour costs and soaring fuel prices, filed for bankruptcy protection Wednesday, entering Chapter 11 on the same day as its larger rival, Delta Air Lines. The filings put three of the four largest U.S. airlines in bankruptcy court. The company said in a news release it would continue to fly its normal schedule while reorganizing. |
