Disney’s first theme park in China – Hong Kong Disneyland – opened this morning with musicians clanging cymbals, Chinese lion dancers prancing and fireworks bursting in the sky. The ceremony, attended by Disney executives and a senior Chinese leader, ended with a parade of skipping Disney characters old and new: Mickey, Donald Duck, Mushu the dragon, Lilo and Winnie the Pooh. Robert Iger, president of the Walt Disney Co., said it was exciting being part of China's future. "As millions discover the wonders of Hong Kong and China – one of the most rapidly growing travel destinations in the world – the future is indeed bright," he said.

| NEW ORLEANS PORT CLOSURE FORCES CRUISE MOVES |

Closure of the Port of New Orleans has forced NCL and Carnival to adjust itineraries. NCL’s Norwegian Sun will initially be based in Houston then reposition to Miami to sail one four-day cruise to the Bahamas on January 17, 2006, and a series of alternating seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from January 21, 2006 until April 16, 2006. Norwegian Sun’s itinerary out of Houston is: Houston – At Sea – Cozumel, Mexico – Belize City, Belize – Roatán, Honduras – At Sea – Houston. Also, Norwegian Sun’s Panama Canal cruise departing from Los Angeles on September 30, 2005 will now end in Houston, instead of New Orleans, on October 16, 2005.

ROBERT L. STANFIELD TERMINAL Nova Scotia paid tribute to a former premier and federal Conservative leader by naming the newly expanded main terminal building at Halifax International for Robert L. Stanfield. Halifax International is in the middle of a multi-million dollar renovation. The airport authority has spent $82 million during the past five years to upgrade the terminal by enlarging the domestic and international arrivals area. Repair work on the two main runways is also underway. As the largest regional hub in Atlantic Canada, Halifax handled about 3.6 million passengers last year. |
