TEAM Caribe, an acronym for Tourism - Education - Awareness - Marketing, was launched two years ago as an initiative to assist travel agents by preparing them with the knowledge to promote and sell within the Caribbean region. The program, put together by several of the Caribbean Tourist Boards, provides agents with the opportunity to receive updates on the latest developments on each Island in a one-stop-shopping format. Each of the 10 participating Boards has six minutes to update the attendees, for a total presentation time of one hour. The floor is then open for agents to ask questions.
