WESTJET GOES SHOPPING
WestJet's Board of Directors has approved the purchase of four additional Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft. The 737 aircraft are scheduled for 2007 delivery. WestJet also announced the exercise of purchase rights for an additional three 737 Next-Generation aircraft in 2008. "We are excited at the future growth that these options provide WestJet with in 2007 and 2008," said Clive Beddoe, WestJet's President and CEO.

East Florida debuted in 2000, followed by West Florida, and Panhandle; the South and final section will be unveiled on January 14, 2006, at a dedication celebration at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary in Naples.

CONTINENTAL AIRLINES FLIGHT ATTENDATS RESUME TALKS
Continental Airlines and its flight attendants resumed contract talks Wednesday, but hurdles to an agreement remain, including proposed cuts in wages and benefits.
KOREA AIR UNIONIZED PILOTS WALK OFF THE JOB
Unionized pilots at Korean Air Co., South Korea's largest carrier and one of the world's largest cargo airlines, went on strike to demand higher wages despite a government threat to use special powers to halt the walkout. The pilots went on strike at 12:01 a.m. Seoul time Thursday, said Park Byung-ryul, the union's spokesman. He said the pilots were "very concerned'' about the government's warning.
