CAYMAN CHEFS BRING CARIBBEAN TO MONTREAL
As part of a Caribbean culinary team being hosted in various restaurants throughout the Montreal area this weekend, two chefs from the Cayman Islands will be serving culinary delights inspired by the delectable tastes of the Cayman Islands. Ron Jacobson, Area Chef with Tropical Trader Restaurant Group will be hosted at Château Bromont from October 6th - 8th.  Phillip Pratt, Executive Chef to his Excellency the Governor of the Cayman Islands B.W.I. will be at Resto Pub City from October  6th-8th.  
AIR CANADA OUTPERFORMS WESTJET, LOAD FACTOR
Air Canada outperformed WestJet Airlines in load factor for September, the airlines reported Thursday. Air Canada said it achieved its highest passenger load factor ever for the month of September, at 80.4 per cent, compared with 79.2 per cent in September 2004. The figures for Air Canada do not include its regional airline sister Jazz. WestJet added capacity faster than its traffic grew, so its load factor for September dropped to 70.9 per cent compared with 71.3 per cent for September 2004. Year to date, WestJet's traffic grew 29.4 per cent while capacity grew 23 per cent, giving it a load factor of 74.5 per cent.

TRAVEL EXECS BARE - MUCH - FOR BREAST CANCER RESEARCH
Fifty of travel's top female executives are baring their souls - and a lot more - in a bid to raise $50,000 for breast cancer research with the first annual Calendar Girls of Travel. The idea for a professionally designed full colour wall calendar, with each month depicting one or more of travel's most exceptional female execs, each baring the inner strength of her soul to the camera, was hatched over a conversation about the hit movie Calendar Girls. Spearheaded by Sue Webb, Susan Edwards, Mary Heron, Patrice Bell and Kim Clarke, the project had soon garnered pledges for corporate sponsors, each donating $1,000 towards the hard costs of producing the calendar, thus allowing 100 per cent of sales revenue to go directly to the Breast Cancer Foundation.

QATAR AIRWAYS UNVEILS NEW LOOK FOR DOHA ASIAN GAMES 2006
Qatar Airways, the Official Airline for the 15th Asian Games Doha 2006, and the Doha Asian Games Organizing Committee (DAGOC) have unveiled the first Qatar Airways Airbus A330 themed aircraft to promote the biggest sporting event ever to be staged in the region. The 15th Asian Games, to be held in Doha between December 1 and 15, 2006, is poised to be the world's second biggest multi-sport event with 10,500 athletes and team officials representing a total of 45 countries. It is the first time the Games will be held in the Middle East.
