FUEL SURCHARGE FOR VIRGIN ATLANTIC Virgin Atlantic will increase the fuel surcharge on all one-way flights, including destinations in the United States, by $11.06 U.S. because of rising fuel costs. The airline said the increase of the surcharge from $44.26 to $55.32 would take effect today on all tickets sold in Britain. “We had hoped to avoid increasing the surcharge but the rising price of oil has left us with no choice,” the airline said in a statement. “We will keep the surcharge under review and adjust when appropriate.'' |
