INTAIR GROUP AND FUN SUN VACATIONS ANNOUNCE MERGER
Montreal-based Intair Group and Edmonton-based Fun Sun Vacations have merged, creating a national company offering a complete product line. Existing management will fill senior positions in the new company with José Leroux as President, Chris Amundson, Vice President for Western Canada, and Craig Kijek, Vice President for Eastern Canada. Fun Sun Vacations and all divisions of the Intair Group (Intair Vacations, Exotik Tours, Boomerang Tours and Carter Postale) will maintain their brands and continue their respective activities.

JAZZ TO OFFER DAILY EDMONTON-LAS ANGELES NON-STOPS
Air Canada will launch daily non-stop flights between Edmonton and Los Angeles effective May 1, 2006. Westin courts non-smoking travellers, policy violators face $200 US "cleaning fee" for lighting up
Westin Hotels and Resorts is going smoke-free next month in Canada, the United States and the Caribbean, and will add $200 US to the bill of anyone who violates the policy, an executive said Monday. The chain is banning smoking indoors and poolside at all 77 of its properties in North America, said senior vice-president Sue Brush. Smokers will have to go to a designated outdoor area, she added.

WESTJET RELEASES NOVEMBER LOAD FIGURES
WestJet announced its traffic statistics for Nov. 2005 today, featuring a 29.3% increase in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in November 2004. Year to date, RPMs increased 28.1%. Available seat miles (ASMs) grew 5.2%. Year to date, ASMs have increased 20.1%. WestJet's load factor for Nov. 2005 was 71.9%, a 13.4% increase over Nov. 2004. During the first 11 months of 2005, the company's load factor was 74.2%, a 4.7% increase the same period in 2004.
AIR CANADA ANNOUNCES LOAD FACTOR
Air Canada reported a system load factor of 76.4% in Nov. 2005. The mainline carrier flew 5.5% more revenue passenger miles (RPMs) in than in Nov. 2004. Overall, capacity increased by 3.1%, resulting in a load factor of 76.4%, an increase of 1.8%. Jazz flew 98.4% more revenue passenger miles in Nov. 2005 than in Nov. 2004. Capacity increased by 91.4%, resulting in a load factor of 69.3%, an increase of 2.5%.
