ZOOM ANNOUNCES BELFAST-CARDIFF FLIGHT ROUTE
Zoom Airlines has announced the introduction of scheduled transatlantic service from Vancouver to Belfast, Northern Ireland to Cardiff, Wales. Zoom Airlines is the only Canadian air carrier to provide non-stop service from Vancouver to Belfast and the only carrier servicing the Vancouver - Cardiff route. The new service begins June 12, 2006 and will be available every Monday up to October 30, 2006. Prices for Zoom Airlines' full service flights to Belfast and Cardiff, which include meals, drinks and in-flight entertainment, will start from $299 one way.

SHANGRI-LA MEETS VEGAS IN MACAU
Shangri-La Meets Vegas in Macau
Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has completed an agreement to manage two Las Vegas Sands Corp. hotels in the Chinese gaming enclave of Macau. The 500-room Shangri-La hotel and 1,000-room Traders hotel will both open in 2008 and occupy a 39-floor building located on the Cotai Strip, a few minutes drive from the airport and a 20-minute drive from downtown. Dubbed Asia's Las Vegas, Cotai is a master-planned development of hotel properties, casinos, entertainment attractions, retail, meeting and convention facilities, projected to become the world's largest gaming and entertainment centre.

ARBITER RESOLVES AIR CANADA DISPUTE
A dispute between Air Canada and its pilots, that had threatened the airline's multi-million-dollar purchase of new Boeing 777 and 787 jets, has been resolved by an arbitrator's decision. The mid-sized, fuel-efficient planes are seen as a key component of Air Canada's plans to rejuvenate its fleet, keep costs down and remain competitive.
