Canada always does a great job [in delivering] visits. Here’s our chance to say it.”

Toronto and Halifax schedules announced; YYZ flights resume Apr. 1; YHZ flights resume June 4, 2009
Icelandair has announced its flight schedule for the Toronto and Halifax gateways. Flights from Toronto Pearson will resume April 1, 2009 with three flights per week, up to five per week, while flights from Halifax Stanfield are reintroduced June 4, 2009 with two flights per week, with an additional weekly flight during the peak travel period. WestJet recently announced a promotion for anyone with the last name Valentine, Love, Rose, Sweet, Heart (or Hart). WestJet will offer $14 flights, plus taxes, fees and surcharges, within Canada on Saturday, February 14, 2009, for all guests with the last names mentioned above. Hart will also be accepted as will Rose as a first name. Guests can fly up to a maximum of two one-way trips on Valentine's Day. All flights must be booked on Wed., February 11, 2009, to fly on Saturday, February 14, 2009. This offer may be combined with other fares such as a return flight later in the week.
