ISRAEL RESUMES CANADIAN CAMPAIGN
The Israel Government Tourist Office - Canada is resuming its nationwide advertising in September after a hiatus of six months, according to Oded Grofman, Director for Canada. The campaign will include television advertising on the CBC network, other cable and satellite stations, and print advertising in the National Post newspaper, and in key travel industry publications. There will also be a parallel TV and print campaign in nationwide Jewish and Christian media, as well as an expansion of public relations efforts across Canada.

Yesterday afternoon, John R. Nay, the U.S. Consul General, hosted a garden lunch reception to welcome Scott Bozek, the new Principal Commercial Officer at the U.S. Commercial Service. Bozek, along with his wife Judy, will be posted to Toronto for four years. The event was hosted at Consul General Nay's home in midtown Toronto, with approximately 80 guests in attendance from both countries, including the media, travel industry representatives, municipal, provincial and federal government representatives, as well as representatives from various sectors of the economy.  U.S. Ambassador David Wilkins made the trip from Ottawa to introduce Bozek, who just transferred to Toronto from Moscow. Bozek has been with the U.S. Commercial Service since 1981, and has served in Hungary, Norway, Turkey and Romania; during that time, he and his wife Judy have raised 3 sons.
