MANGO BAY REPORTS OCCUPANCY RECORD
The 76-room, all-inclusive Mango Bay in Barbados expects an 89% occupancy level in  June 2008, building on a two-year trend where occupancies have steadily increased during the off-season month for travel to the Caribbean. This is likely due to the hotel’s $10M renovation and the growing appeal of Barbados with more activities.

STRIKE MAY AFFECT ICELANDAIR FLIGHTS
Air Traffic Controllers plan strike from June 27-July 30; may affect early morning Icelandair flights from KEF
Keflavik International Airport
The union of Icelandic air traffic controllers is planning 20 short strikes from June 27 to July 20. The job action is meant to happen between 0700 and 1100 and will not impact Icelandair's North American flights, however there may well be delays on early morning flights out of KEF.  There is still a chance that this will all be averted as the two parties are meeting on June 26. Air traffic controllers do not have the right to go on a total strike, so they are proposing 20 four-hour strikes in a 24-day period.  The strikes will take place in the morning, and all domestic flights will be held up during that time. Two international flights will be allowed to take off per hour. There will be an active air traffic controller in every flight tower, but only for the sake of dealing with emergencies.
