GOWAY STAFF COOKS FOR CHINA

Goway Travel staff hold bake sale and cook for colleagues to raise money for the victims of the China earthquake
The staff at Goway Travel continue their pledge to aid the victims of the China earthquake. On Monday June 2, over one lunch hour, a "bake sale" was held at the Toronto Headquarters of Goway Travel, raising almost $1,100 and bringing the staff contributions to almost $3,000. The staff cooked for their colleagues, and made fried dumplings, home-made spaghetti with Chinese seasonings, spring rolls, Won Ton soup, mango salad, Chinese pie, curried meatballs, eggplant curry and Pad Thai. All of the staff was encouraged to enjoy their colleagues' culinary efforts, resulting in an additional $1,100 being collected for the cause.

ITRAVEL2000 MAKES IT SNOW
itravel2000 brings winter to Canadians with 'Let it Snow' program
Launched last year, the 'Let It Snow' program will reward Canadians with a free winter vacation if it snows more than five inches on January 1, 2009.  Thousands of Canadians participated in the campaign last year with participants from Quebec winning their vacations for free. Jonathan Carroll, President of itravel2000, and his Snow Team will tour Toronto with a giant beach-themed snow globe to launch the 2008/2009 campaign.  The Snow Team will be handing out snowflakes on Tuesday, June 17.
