BOMBARDIER’S NEW JET
Bombardier announces new CSeries regional jet to be built in Quebec

As the world's airlines cope with record jet fuel prices, Bombardier Inc. launched a new fuel-efficient CSeries regional jet Sunday, saying the ``greenest aircraft in its class'' will be manufactured at the company's Mirabel plant north of Montreal. A key attraction to potential customers is the fact the jet is about 20 per cent more fuel efficient than its rivals.

On Friday morning, the Walt Disney Travel Company hosted a travel trade media breakfast at their Toronto office. Randy Garfield, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Travel Operations, was on hand to discuss the company’s focus and future plans and what makes Disney confident in their position, despite the current economic situation. “I’ve been in the industry for 30 years,” Garfield said. “I’ve never seen anyone hug an airline member or product. We create an emotional connection. We have built a legacy of storytelling.” According to Garfield, he is not concerned by the current state of the shaky economy. He believes that the Walt Disney Company’s portfolio is diverse enough to help it weather the storms ahead. [Full text and pictures]
