Last year, qualifying participants across Canada eagerly watched weather reports hoping that the massive winter storms would deliver over 5 inches of snow and free vacations. With Ontario and Atlantic Canada coming close, Quebecers got their vacations for free when it snowed more than 5 inches at Montreal's Pierre Elliot Trudeau Airport. There are five categories in YourQuest and agents are invited to enter just one or all five. Once your photo has been uploaded, get your friends to vote - and don't forget, you can vote for yourself as well. The winning photo in each category (the ones with the most votes) will win a trip to a RIU resort in the Caribbean or Mexico, along with a credit from The Bay for some great resort clothes to wear in destination, a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses, and a professional photo shoot. WestJet and Southwest to sell tickets on each other's routes in late 2009
Canadian Press WestJet Airlines Ltd. and Southwest Airlines have finalized their code-sharing agreement, and the two airlines expect to be selling tickets on one another's routes by late 2009. WestJet and Dallas-based Southwest had announced a memorandum of understanding in July, and WestJet executive vice-president Hugh Dunleavy said Wednesday they ``have negotiated the terms that will ultimately bring great value to our customers and to our respective shareholders.'' The code-share ``is an important step in implementing our strategic plan and bringing us a step closer to accessing Southwest's 64 cities and more than 3,400 flights while giving Southwest access to our network of 55 cities and more than 400 flights each day,'' Dunleavy added.

| AC GETS CASH INFUSION |

Air Canada secures up to US$195 million in financing from GE Capital Canadian Press
Cash-strapped Air Canada has negotiated another loan to help it run operations, this time a US$195-million financing agreement with General Electric Capital Corp. Under the financing, which amounts to about C$238 million, US$80 million was funded immediately, the Montreal-based airline said Wednesday. The 12-year agreement will provide Air Canada with at least US$40 million more financing, the company said. Earlier in the week, Air Canada signed a deal for a five-year loan for US$78 million with Calyon New York Branch and Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale. That loan, worth about C$95 million, will mature in December 2013.
