How do you feel about Unique Vacations’ recent no discounting policy on Sandals and Beaches product?
I’m happy because I can continue to sell the company’s products with confidence
I’m indifferent, Unique Vacations has always supported agents so this is nothing new
I don’t sell this type of product so I’m not affected by the change
I’m not so pleased – how am I supposed to sell to my clients without discounting?
JULIO SAYS HELLO
Canadian Press
Tropical storm Julio continued to lash the southern half of Mexico's Baja California peninsula with heavy rain Monday. But forecasters say the storm is expected to weaken to a tropical depression and move out over the Gulf of California later in the day. The storm began drenching the resort-studded southern Baja California on Sunday. Most vacationers were riding out the bad weather inside their hotels, but some reportedly were venturing out on shopping trips and excursions.

The Boeing 737 was headed to Iran when it crashed near Bishkek's Manas International Airport, said government spokeswoman Roza Daudova. Twenty-two people, including two crew members, survived. Daudova said the people on board the plane included 24 Kyrgyz citizens, 52 Iranians, three Kazakhs, two Canadians, one citizen of Turkey and one Chinese.
JAZZ WILL REMOVE LIFEVESTS
Canadian Press
Woody French, the mayor of Conception Bay South, says he finds it “unconscionable” that Jazz, an affiliate of Air Canada, is pulling life vests out of some of its planes to save on fuel. Transport Canada regulations allow airlines to use lighter flotation devices instead of life vests provided the planes remain within 90 kilometres of shore. A Jazz official says a number of its east coast routes have been adjusted to meet that requirement.
