The delegates are on their way to Montreal this Thursday, but they didn’t leave Toronto without celebrating in true Texan style. Announced by Disney President and Chief Executive Officer Bob Iger and Parks and Resorts Chairman Jay Rasulo at a press conference at Walt Disney Imagineering’s Glendale headquarters, the expansion will bring new entertainment and major family-oriented attractions to Disney’s California Adventure, including an entirely new Cars Land inspired by the hit Disney•Pixar animated film Cars.

| AC EXPANDS SERVICE TO VENEZUELA, TRINIDAD |

New flights offer non-stop service, better connections to Caracas and Port of Spain, beginning April 2008

| Caracas, Venezuela | | Air Canada is expanding service to Venezuela and Trinidad and Tobago this spring with designated, non-stop flights to each country that will provide greater convenience and better connections for travellers. Previously, Air Canada offered only a single flight serving both cities, but in the spring, the airline will commence separate, non-stop flights for each destination, thanks to growing demand for both business and leisure travel between Toronto, Venezuela, and Trinidad. Flights to Caracas begin on April 6, 2008 and flights to Port of Spain will commence on April 8, 2008.

| Christiane Théberge | | ACTA has reorganized the Quebec regional office. President and CEO of ACTA, Christiane Théberge, told TRAVELHotNews that they “decided to look at a way to have a larger organization” and maintain more presence in each province. This means that regional managers will be required to spend time on the road visiting constituents. Henri Castillo, Regional Manager for Quebec, announced his resignation this week. “In certain regions, such as the Atlantic region, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and Alberta, we have already had regional managers working from home,” said Théberge.
