| Bruce Lidberg, Director of Sales, IFS Voyages; Philippe Blain, Director, Boomerang Tours; David Boigné, General Manager of Exotik Tours | | The Eglinton Grand theatre in Toronto played host to a first-ever event last night – the coming together of Boomerang Tours, Exotik Tours, Fun Sun Vacations and Intair. It was the first time all four brands from the IFS Voyages family have hosted their product launch at the same event, said emcee Bruce Lidberg, Director of Sales for IFS Voyages. The event featured a marketplace with various suppliers, allowing agents to obtain new brochures and chat with representatives about new developments. Following that, a presentation on the four brands was made in the adjacent theatre. Entertainment during the marketplace and presentation was proved by musician and humorist Matt Day, singing songs in honour of travel agents. At the end of the evening, a fun trivia contest, called “Are You Smarter than a Tour Operator?” had agents to answer questions for the opportunity to win prizes donated by supplier partners.

| ACTA Applauds RCI Move on Card Mills |
ACTA commends RCI on decision to terminate relationship with MLMs
| Christiane Theberge, President/CEO, ACTA | | ACTA applauds Royal Caribbean Cruise for their announcement, made yesterday, to terminate their relationship with travel-related companies selling ordinary consumer benefits designed for travel professionals. In a letter to travel agents, Royal Caribbean said that it is taking action against these businesses who deem to be card mills “in an effort to prevent a growing and troubling trend within the travel industry”. “ACTA has long been concerned about the acceptance of such cards by suppliers, as they are sold to non-travel professionals and ACTA certainly welcomed the cruise line’s decision. The association can only wish that many other travel suppliers, and hotel chains in particular, will follow suit and help the industry fight the proliferation of such card mills” commented Christiane Théberge, President and CEO of ACTA.

| TOUR EAST HOLIDAYS MONITORING BURMA SITUATION |
Safety of Tour East customers is paramount, says Annie Tsu
| Burma | | Executives at Tour East Holidays said today they are carefully monitoring the political situation in Burma (Myanmar) as it relates to travel to that part of the world. While Tour East Holidays is still offering tour packages to Burma, the company's Executive Vice President Annie Tsu said today their decision to continue tours there is being discussed "on a daily basis." "The safety of our customers is paramount in these situations and so we're maintaining close contact with our ground representatives in Burma to make sure our clients are in no danger. They report that tourists are safe and all tourist venues are open for now. All monasteries are opened and monks and nuns have returned to their religious activities. "However, we know many people are concerned about developments in Burma and we are working closely with customers to iron out new travel plans to other destinations in Indochina if they so wish," said Tsu.

| BOEING 787 DELAY: AIRLINES BEING PATIENT |
Airlines disappointed, but taking Boeing's 787 delay in stride Canadian Press
Despite their dismay that Boeing Co. has pushed back delivery of its first 787s by at least six months, airlines including Air Canada waiting for the plane say they can deal with the delay and don't expect it will hurt their operations substantially. Japan's All Nippon Airways Co. is first in a line of 50 customers that have ordered the medium-sized, long-haul jets. Air Canada has firm orders for 37, with delivery originally starting in 2010. They've also got options for an additional 23. All Nippon Airways was expecting to get the first of its 50 planes next May, but on Wednesday, Boeing announced it was postponing the 787's initial delivery at least six months, mostly because of problems in its supply chain that have complicated assembly of the first planes on the production line.
