| BSP CANADA MAKES ADJUSTMENTS |
|
BSP Canada to eliminate SSAN and SSAR forms, effective August 13, 2007 Yesterday, BSP Canada issued a memorandum outlining the elimination of the Sales Summary Adjustment Notice (SSAN) and the Sales Summary Adjustment Request (SSAR). These ticket adjustment forms are used to correct ticketing or processing errors, with the SSAN being used for amounts under $60 and the SSAR for amounts over $60. In the place of SSAN and SSAR, BSPlink will require agents to raise an Agency Credit Memo Request (ACM Request). In circumstances when the agency owes money to an airline, the agency may also voluntarily raise an Agency Debit Memo Request (ADM Request) in BSPlink. BSP Canada has announced that the new adjustment process in BSPlink may not be offered by all airlines for all agencies. If an agency is unable to process an adjustment for a given carrier in BSPlink, BSP Canada will require the agent to contact the carrier directly.
