| Rex Armstead | Rex Armstead, president of Addison Travel Marketing, was yesterday, as always, travelling with the Addison shows overseeing every detail. Armstead seemed to be everywhere at once with not a trace of fatigue. In fact, Armstead was amazingly energized and upbeat after a series of shows across the country. He was enthusiastic, but not surprised, at the excellent response to the show, "We always deliver what we promise, an information-packed show, a great opportunity to network and a fun evening out."

| Brenda Trockstad | WestJet Vacations' general manager, Brenda Trockstad told TRAVELHotNews.com that the company will announce today "a commission of 9% on air, car, hotel and attractions, to travel agents booking clients with WestJet Vacations. "Our commitment to travel agents at our soft launch on June 1," said Trockstad, "was that we would be available to agents (via website and call centre) and would then start our consumer advertising."With packages available on all WestJet destinations, the tour operator arm of the company now offers hotel accommodation, car rental and selected attractions to match up to the air component.

| YYZ airport fees hiked $5 January 1, 2007 |

Canada's busiest airport will increase its airport improvement fee by $5 effective January 1, 2007. Toronto's Pearson International Airport will hit travellers with a $20 per person fee, up from the current $15. The fee for passengers with connecting flights at Pearson will remain at $8.The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), which operates the airport, said the fee hike will be used to partially fund higher capital costs and the airport's associated debt. The increase will coincide with the opening of the new international pier early in 2007.

| Enterprise Rent-A-Car and ACTA announce partnership agreement |

Enterprise becomes exclusive rental partner to association Enterprise Rent-A-Car and the Association of Canadian Travel Agencies (ACTA) have announced a national partnership agreement in which the two organizations will promote Enterprise Rent-A-Car services to association members across Canada. The agreement, which runs from September to December 2007, will involve Enterprise supporting ACTA's membership advocacy and promotional activities in Canada. In turn, ACTA, which represents the interests of 2,600 travel agencies and close to 19,000 retail travel professionals in Canada, will promote Enterprise Rent-A-Car to consumers and travel agents.
