FunSun Vacations kicked off the season with a busy trade show and launch in Toronto.  Celebrating 50 years in the business the company highlighted its product with travel agents having ample opportunity to interact individually with hoteliers and suppliers obtaining brochures and information.  Fun Sun has programmes to Hawaii, (Oahu, Maui, Hawaii, Kauai and Molokai) with daily departures from across Canada.

CanJet gets lift with Sunquest
Other tour operators may follow

Sunquest president Andrew Dawson has announced that his company will be flying with CanJet this winter. The tour operator had said it would shift its business from CanJet after the carrier announced, earlier this month, that it would be shutting down its scheduled service. Dawson said that decision has changed based on guarantees made to him by CanJet CEO, Ken Rowe. Sunquest will now fly six flights with CanJet this winter and also share some flights with Skyservice from Halifax and St.John's.

First Choice makes changes
Management reorganization affects Signature and retail brands

First Choice has restructured and reorganized management at its retail brands and Signature Vacations. Lower cost structures and more streamlined processes were cited as the reasons for management reorganization. First Choice said it regrets the departure of Kathleen Manuel, V.P. distribution and marketing, who had held several roles within the company, stressing that she had "been a strong contributor in moving the organization forward." Other changes included the added responsibilities of national chain relationships for Kevin Kalbfleisch, general manager, Ontario and Atlantic Canada, for First Choice Canada.

The free cars promotion is valid for a minimum of two adults travelling together and tax and insurance on the cars are to be paid locally by the renter.
