The Cuba Tourist Board hosted a luncheon at the Park Hyatt to welcome Oscar Gonzalez, Cuban Vice Minister of Tourism.  In his address, Gonzalez focused on three areas: the importance of the Canadian market, details of the new 2007 campaign for tourism and plans for the 2007 Cuba International Tourism Fair."Canada continues to be Cuba's main tourism market - now and for years to come," stated Gonzalez.

Caribbean Star, LIAT to pursue 'options' on creating new airline
Cooperation beats competition for the carriers
LIAT's board of directors has authorized the carrier to pursue formal negotiations with Caribbean Star toward joining forces and creating a new airline. According to Caribbean Star, informal talks had been ongoing for several weeks. The new airline would combine the "best of the two carriers," Caribbean Star said.
