WestJet commented yesterday on the report issued by the Montreal Economic Institute regarding the excessive taxes imposed on the Canadian airline industry. Holland America says no-way to discount ticket error

Holland America has some very unhappy passengers. Beginning September 8 for span of four days, Holland America accidentally sold cabins on the Noordam for substantially below their regular price.  10 cruises were affected between January and April, 2007. Cabins showed up on the reservations system at $849, a whopping US$550 lower than the actual price of US$1,399. Now Holland America says the rate was a mistake and passengers who booked the fares must pay the difference or it will deny them boarding. [Full text]

Airbus visits South China
China Southern Airlines hosted the Airbus A380 which is making its first technical proving run through Asia. China Southern Airlines will be the nation's launch customer of the massive superjumbo aircraft and is slated include five of the aircraft in its fleet.
