Beginning September 8 for span of four days, Holland America accidentally sold cabins on the Noordam for substantially below their regular price. 10 cruises were affected between January and April, 2007. Cabins showed up on the reservations system at $849, a whopping US$550 lower than the actual price of US$1,399. Now Holland America says the rate was a mistake and passengers who booked the fares must pay the difference or it will deny them boarding.
