Established in 2004, the carrier will feature flights to the southern destinations from a total of 16 cities across the country this winter, including this year's additions of Montreal, Quebec, and Bagotville/The Saguenay. The expansion has resulted in recruitment of almost 160 staff and thousands of affordable vacations for Quebecers. Destinations served from the province will include Florida, six resort areas in Cuba, Mexico (Acapulco and Cancun), the Dominican Republic and Panama.

Long haul budget airline hits turbulence One of the world's first long-haul budget airlines has run into more trouble. After its first flight was grounded over difficulties with Russian air traffic control last week, Oasis has once again experienced major delays. A spokesman for the airline blamed traffic congestion at London's Gatwick Airport. He claimed that a huge traffic backup at Gatwick forced the delay of the Sunday flight, stranding more than 240 passengers. The Boeing 747, was due to depart LGW Sunday evening and land in Hong Kong Monday afternoon.
