New Daily Service To Muscat
Etihad Airways launched its new daily service between Abu Dhabi and Muscat last Sunday. Flight EY707 will depart each day from Abu Dhabi at 9 p.m., arriving at Muscat at 10 p.m aboard a new wide-bodied Airbus A330-200 aircraft. The return flight, EY708, departs from Muscat at 11 p.m. arriving at Abu Dhabi at midnight. All times are local. |

| Venezuela Postpones Restrictions on U.S. Air Service |
|
Venezuelan authorities have decided to hold off on restricting U.S. airline service to the country - for now. Officials say they will go ahead with restrictions - including an outright ban on Continental and Delta airlines - on April 25 if a U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) safety audit of Venezuela's air services fails to lift 10-year-old restrictions on Venezuelan airline service to the U.S. FAA officials visited Venezuela earlier in the week to make the audit; a final decision is expected within weeks. Venezuela has been threatening to ban all Delta and Continental service to Venezuela and limit American to three daily flights out of Miami.
