Daryl McWilliams, vice-president of sales and marketing for the Sunwing Vacations Group, has announced a national preferred supplier agreement with Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT).The agreement comprises a variety of sales incentives and marketing initiatives available to all CWT agencies across Canada. Air Transat Kids Club proves a success
One year later - 10,000 young members

The Air Transat Kids Club is celebrating its first anniversary with 10,000 young members. The programme offers children aged 2 to 11 and their families, special service from check-in right through to destination. To celebrate the Club's anniversary, Air Transat is adding new features. Onboard, young travellers receive a surprise pack including entertaining games, a headset and a log book in which they can record flight information and their travel memories. Seabourn skips Libya in 2007

Seabourn Cruise Line announced it cancelled scheduled calls in Libya on the Seabourn Spirit and Seabourn Legend in 2007, due to Libya's refusal to permit entry to guests travelling with U.S. passports. "We regret the need to change any itinerary," said Seabourn President Pamela Conover. "But we have repeatedly petitioned the Libyan authorities to allow all of our guests into their country, and they have shown no indication that they will do so. Fortunately, there are very attractive alternatives available, and we have added several."The change will affect the itineraries of two cruises. [Full text]

Price counts
A Pricewaterhouse Cooper's report indicates that when asked what drives them to use one online agency over another, 85% said price. The least important (only 30%) was brand.  Other factors were: easy booking, easy navigation and good range of destinations.
