Aero Canadian Tour and Travel Inc., Ragubayan Logasundaram and Sutharsanan Shanmugasundaram were convicted on one count each of failing to obtain the consent of the registrar prior to assuming the role of director of a registrant, contrary to section 5(1) of the Travel Industry Act, 2002. Aero Canadian Tour and Travel Inc., Ragubayan Logasundaram and Sutharsanan Shanmugasundaram were convicted on two counts each of failing to maintain trust accounting contrary to section 27 of Regulation 26/05 made under the Ontario Travel Industry Act, 2002. Continue reading for complete details on the convictions and sentancing. TURKS & CAICOS TOP TOURIST ARRIVALS
Turks & Caicos announces a 12.5 per cent increase for long stay and cruise arrivals in 2009
The Turks and Caicos Tourist Board has announced a positive 2009, with a 12.5 increase in combined long stay and cruise arrivals. Cruise arrivals in 2009 have shown steady increases over the years; a 21 per cent increase was recorded for the year, with a total of 513, 928 cruise passengers in 2009. UNITED’S NEW FINANCE OFFICERS
United Airlines announced today that it has named Rohit Philip to the newly created role of senior vice president – Corporate Strategy and Business Development. John R. Gebo was named vice president – Financial Planning and Analysis. Additionally, the company named Tyler Reddien as managing director – Investor Relations, succeeding Gebo.
