Make a Wish kids' Olympic dream will come true after cruise ship hotel deal falls through; kids will have places to stay
Canadian Press A group of terminally ill children will now find their wishes to go to the Olympics fulfilled. This week, their trip to Vancouver was threatened as their accommodations were cancelled abruptly. About a dozen children and their families from Canada and the United States were sponsored by Make A Wish Canada. They were to stay aboard the Norwegian Star, a Norwegian Cruise Lines vessel leased by Edmonton-based Newwest Special Projects as a floating hotel for the Games. But Newwest suddenly cancelled its venture Tuesday.
